The Hate Tank 69 Bird

Yup, he moves off the line well but turbo cars generally launch on the soft side (if you can call that soft)....it's when they get down track a bit is when they start having problems as this one shows lol

It looks super squirley loose and dangerous as Hell. COOL!

Now I know why they call it the hate tank. Holy crap! What a handful.

Familiar territory. I've been down that track a few times. Owner strikes me as being from Chicago for some reason......

Speaking of soft launches. I saw a fox body Mustang at Bowling Green this year. Was green, small tire car and looked almost like a 13 second car. Except for the bead locks and chute. Was a turbo car with mufflers, so it even sounded like a 13 second car. However, the chute and rims told me it was something other. It launched very soft and around 100', the thing took off like a freakin rocket and went 8.20.

Was IMHO the most impressive car there even among 7 and 6 second cars.

I love sleepers.

How many stages of the laughing gas did it have? You have to bring them on in stages or they will blow the tires off.

Was a turbo car, you can control the boost with MSD boost controller or similar.

I know old thread but has anyone figured out what style motor it is running? I am hoping it is still Mopar powered in some form.

He is from the Chicago area.

Now that it’s wrecked maybe he will take the LS motor out of it.

I saw that he crashed it but I saw a video that looked like he had raced it after the crash. Sooo I wasn’t sure. The thing is if it isn’t Mopar powered it won’t do much for me. Kind of like that dart on street outlaws.
