What did you do to your Mopar today?

Finished the 4 speed conversion in my 68 coronet and took it for its first drive.

Completely different car!

I need to call Robbmc tomorrow because the starter I bought sounds like it's hanging up for a second after it starts.

I’ve just been looking into that! I had the trans beefed up a few months before the floor or gave out so she’s ready to be turned under but I also can’t drop too much more dough into this thing lol looking at grinding The fuelplate down and maybe some injectors but all just speculation for now
Is that a 6BT?
Looks like one, but it's hard to tell in that tiny pic.

too much of a good thing?

doin thermotec in the trunk. why not?

gas tank exterior facing rear axle/exhaust was already done using thermotec aluminized heat barrier (part #13590)

Helped my buddy take out a trans axle out of his wife’s ferd focus, change the clutch/pressure plate, tb, and reinstall everything.

It’s ok, he has a 70’ Duster that I built a Dana 60 and 4 link for him.

Installed a new vinyl top on my 73. I will say it was a challenge as its been 25 years since I did one. Legendary tops rock!

Well I fixed that leak behind the kick panel that was causing the floor pan to rust in the truck on the drivers side. I also laid some sound dampening material down on the floor pan and the back wall of the cab while I had everything out of the cab.

After the rebuild I had oil pan and valve cover leaks. Change and replaced with new oil pan with Felpro gaskets. First pan I used the cork. And with the Mopar Performance valve covers we didn’t get enough sealer at the bottom. After a week no leaks.

Mine’s in paint jail, soooo went to neighborhood car show that included a ‘68 Coronet R/T(Ca. Car) 26k Miles. Finally got to see the 67gtx everyone talks about( it’s not). Actually a ‘66 Belvedere II,auto, hemi with 91k miles bought in Canada. Larry Shephard does all the work on it. Per owner it’s 1of700.

Got all the vinyl top trim on, plus new door weatherstrip.

Took the Coronet up to Auburn for their 2nd Friday car show. There were a quite a few Mopars in attendance, including 3 other Coronets. Two of the coolest engineered vehicles were a 73 Buick LeSabre, convertible, with a twin turbo Chevy 454, Turbo 400 and Strange rear axle (didn't get any pics) and a 40's Chevy truck. The truck didn't seem too special until you got up close and saw the turbo Cummins diesel, modern Ram p/u dash, complete with a/c.

I don't have a welder so had to go to the local exhaust shop and have them weld Borla's where my old Flowmasters were. Big improvement.
