And here I thot my almost 72 yr old *** had done something by putting a raised port headed 505' wedge in a 68 barracuda. PEANUTS COMPARED TO THIS ! If I lived closer, I`d come over and help free !! Unbelieveable ! Have u kept up w/ ur hours ?
Maybe show it to Fiat, get a few factory made !! Waiting on more pics .

They are. Owner of the car has been in contact with him. I believe he is ready to pull it and have it painted somewhere else...yes, still not painted!
 
Would be a sha...CRIME to see all of your outstanding fab work screwed up by an idiot body/paint shop!
 
Good luck with that. It would sure be good it they'd cover that engine up while doing the bodywork.

I kind of like that sating blue look actually. Can't wait to see this thing done....body/paint shop purgatory looks like.

I thought that after I had posted. I remembered you metallic engine bay, but thought you never know. I personally think satin finish on muscle cars looks great, gives them a high end modern look - perfect for a pro-tour.

I think the matte thing will go away in a few years and your left with a dated paint scheme. Anyone remember tribal graphics and pastel paint colors?!

Trying to talk him into black 18" "steelies" in aluminum to go with the black 6 pak hood to complete the A12 look...little redline on the rim, oh yeah.
 
man what a build. freaking crazy talented man. i have a 2004 Ram SRT10 in North Carolina in speed shop prison getting twin turbos. Been kicking around the idea of going and getting it and installing drivetrain in my 69 superbee. Twin turbo viper Bee would be the tits.

I've been waiting so long for some one to do this - bonus points if they can make the dog dish hubcaps work on them! I loved what year one did with the rallyee wheels and the fact you can use the original center caps were a huge bonus

Yup these would look good! I hear you not eh stain finish, but I think it will last longer. I'd like to build a duster with satin white paint and gloss black trim. But that won't happen unless I find a cheap one which will be impossible here. Going to just stick with the 27 dodge for now...
