Needs to have the mounting bracket at the bottom, not the bell housing mount location.
 
The one I have has top only, and it's too far from the bell hole for it to seat in the trans.

It has mounts for bell housing and base. I think this was out of a 1964 big block with 727.

I have one which is still attached to the small block 727, out of a 1964 Dodge Polara 500.

This is on the original 727/318 that was in my car.

My cousin Jeff swapped it with a 383 years ago. I will never use it, so if you don't find one that will work for you and are interested let me know, I'll pull it and clean it up for you.

Mine is a 318 poly but I think I can modify or not use the top hole.

Here are some of the pictures of what I am up against on my orig tranny, trying to get that tube out for you. I could not load them up on the PM.

A couple more pictures. The tube is in great shape, however because my cousin had let the tranny sit in the backyard in the weather on the ground the tranny case and inards are in bad shape. Notice the rusted through hole in the pan.

Anyway, I will keep soaking it and try tapping it from the pan side to see if it will come loose.

Still in need of a tube? I've a 65 727 that was behind a 318 poly. Just pulled it out of the car a few months back.

Let me know either way please.
