Gotta hold your mouth just right. First off, make sure the ends are capped to keep out any crud. I like to snake them in from the front because it's about the only way to get em in if the motor and the trans is already in the car. Lifting the driver's side of the engine up some can help....
Been a very long time since I snaked any in.....but iirc, I lifted the engine up and that helped a lot. One at a time was easier. You can at least flex one at a time to get it where it needs to be. Having the front end up helps too. Got a lift? I used a pair of homemade wood stands once. They were made so the tires sat on them.
