What body style do you prefer? Tried to put in a link but can't. Go to Chryslers at Carlisle on Facebook and cast your vote.

I realize this is no help at all but I really like them both.

The F bodies have some cool factors, but being made from '76-80, HP was a negative point, BUT IF you rebuild your engine, you can put whatever power to it you desire. right. Just like people with earlier models rebuild engine and NOT always back to stock specs!!!!! F bodies had different TB and rubber isiloated suspension, which can be changed out for firmer ride. Quality of paint was a bad deal in the 76 models as mopar changed their paint procedure and took them a year to figure out their F***** up. HP was down on the late B bodies too so what?

Late B also had iso-comp.

Late B was fully mature platform with most bugs worked out

F was brand new platform with teething issues

First Mopar was an A-body, as was the second. Currently have a B-body as well.

Best b-body is equipped with bucket seats console, t-top or sun-roof with a 400 block, cool rims and running a 9.25 rear end. Too bad Chrysler added the larger gas tank to advertise mileage on a tank of gas which limited a dual exhaust option. In general these well requiped rides just cost too much to for the public to purchase in large numbers.

People knock the cars built after 71 but when we restore these old cars, most times the engine is built for whatever power the owner wants anyway or drop in a modern engine with more hp. The F body had the rubber insulated suspension and that gives a high way ride, and it can be changed to poly or steel. Upgraded interior. It will take a nice size wheel. Pretty profile car, long hood short trunk lid, add the f and r spoilers, some wheel flairs, pretty cool, some with t tops, and the stock 360 back then ran decent.
There are a couple of F body sites And M, R, etc) on facebook, one in particular has a lot of traffic and interest. Nice group of people as we always seem to find in this Mopar world.
