Opinions are like noses, everyone has one! I use S
Sunoco 93 in my Hemi. Of course it has 10% ethanol. What is the additive of choice by most members to add to the gas to mitigate potential long term issues from the ethanol, particularly when sitting for the winter?

Stabil 360. About 5 ounces every fill up.

Occasionally gold eagle will have the large bottles on sale with free shipping.
Orielly has the 360 type in the small bottle.

Look up a product called StarTron. Really good stuff. The marine guys have been using it for years with great success. They deal with more water vapor and stale gas issues than a daily driver will ever see. I use it in every vehicle and all of our yard and farm implements and all my stale fuel issues are gone. No more draining everything for the winter. And it's available on Amazon.

I have used Star Tron and MARINE Sta-Bil 360, and had good results with both.
I wound up getting 50% off a gallon sized bottle of MARINE Sta-Bil 360, so that is what I will be happily using for a while, especially since 93 octane NO ethanol gas is available within 5 minutes of my house.
I have used Royal Purple fuel treatment (to battle the effects of ethanol laced gas) AND it has octane boost mixed in as well, so occasionally I find that is appropriate, like when I drive to a track and need to get fuel before I run, and there isn't any no ethanol premium available (very rare situation).

Product called pri its a shell additive used at the refinery seen signs that say nitrogen additive at shell stations this is the additive. Pretty sure ebay has it

Stabil 360 added when I know the car will be sitting for a while.
RxP every couple of tanks when driving.
Unless you live where non-ethanol gas can be had, the gas we buy is junky.

I've used Stabil (red) in my boat with all the gas that's been in it since new in '08.
Winter layups in October. Fill tank with regular gas (with 10% ethanol) and add Stabil. Starts up fine in late April.
I was expecting muck and white film when I pulled the carb apart a couple years ago and found it immaculate
What it looked like after 8 years....……

I started using the ancient product Mystery Oil on my car before I rebuilt the motor reading up on old mechanic's tricks. It has been used as an alternative for lead additives I read too. My motor had a stumbling issue I zeroed down to the #2 cylinder and be danged after some time running it diminished. My guess was some carbon deposits that this stuff cleaned out. I continue to add a bit of this to fuel and oil for some PM. Who knows? Compare the ingredients and could be some of the stuff or products used today has a lot of the same stuff in it...

Wow!
A picture is worth a thousand words. I agree with the Stabil as well. I also burn Shell Gas 93 Octane.
Finally I pour a can of Sea Foam in occasionally. Great Stuff.

yard equipment repair shops use Sea Foam for all engines that sit all winter and claim it keeps fuel fresh from one season to the next. worth a try.

I don't add anything to the 93 octane pump fuel with 10% ethanol. I just prime the float bowls in the spring and she fires right up.

the sea foam is to keep your gas fresh over the winter months. often gas can turn to crap from sitting for as little as 2 months. If it does you will surely know it by the way it runs and if you open up your carb you will be unhappy. Gas from different areas/distributors can vary from one time to the next. Sounds like you've been lucky so far, but a$10 can of sea foam once a year is cheap insurance to keep your fuel system in good clean working order tank to carb. I prefer to stop headaches beforehand whenever I can.

Should just bring lead back to the gas, hell willing to bet more people died from opioid addiction then ever from leaded gas and we can have more fun with leaded gas again... Cheaply im speaking about.

Best fuel additive... 100 LL

Anybody use marine 2 cycle oil TCW3 in their fuel??
I read that it’s great 1 oz to 5 gal of gas.
I’ll try in my 440 RB HP and see if any difference.
Will advise.
