I have looked to get an embroidered set for my road runner. I have these too, although the plastic birds came "unglued" after a while.

As others have said, it is almost certainly royalty costs. I now have a set that say Plymouth from legendary. These fit PERFECTLY as they are custom fit for each side, but unfortunately do not have the bird on them...

Those are what i bought from amazon, but the logos are not embroidered, they are plastic, hence lo price!
