I’ll 2nd the Wilton.
Had a customer at the store swear by them. Said they wouldn’t loosen up like the cheap vises do because of the finer thread on the screw.
If you can get your hands on a C.Parker vise from Meriden, CT for a reasonable price, get it. Mine is over 80 years old and rock solid still in unrestored condition. Not for a small bench as this one weighs in at 165 lbs. One of the best of the early, American-made vises...

Did you fellas note the construction on that Rigid: Forged steel!Found a used rigid f series 6" nearby. Anyone used this type or have they been chinasized?

The only thing I can add is if I bought another vise I would make sure it has dual lock downs to keep it from spinning as mine has a single lock down and it doesn't hold as well as the dual ones I have at my workplace.
