Was taking rear shock off and stud broke on the lower leaf spring / shock mounting bracket on 63 ply. bev. Without getting a bracket could it be cut off and drill and put a shock mounting stud bolt on.? Looks like the old shock mounting stud is press on or welded on . If anybody done this what part number for shock mounting stud . Thanks

To use that stud, you'd have to drill your old bracket to bolt on. Thought about making some but for that price, not really worth the trouble.

Ahhh... that makes sense why there is a bolt on the end!

Thank you so much! This was driving me crazy!

Dats a funny lookin drill bit ya runnin in dare :D
