1971 GTX Rocker Moulding ?

The car is enroute to me and will arrive Wednesday. The rocker mouldings are supposed to be packed up with the car. I will PM you once I actually have them.

I still know of a set buy they look to have a curve to them?.. Are yours perfectly straight? End of these ones had a bit of a curve.. I have had people say no curve or some say theirs had it as well

So in carlisle bought 4 sets of cuda gran coupe rocker moldings for a steal. People say they are rare...I plan on placing cuda one starting at the rear for position and cut them right at the rocker fender gap. I have an odd ball 70 Molding I bought a few weeks back and I plan on cutting to make these the right length. I will make the fender piece separate and keep the seam very tight. For the price I will make this set up work and I will bet most will never know. Also bought a 71 single grand coupe to make a clean set and get rid of my damage one

The rockers are fiinished and posted for sale on ebay.. mention you are from the forum and I'll give free shipping..

They look dead straight are they supposed to have the slight curve????
 
The sample sets we have are completely straight.. so.. we tried to exactly copy those originals

Yes my set and others I have seen are straight but there could have been different suppliers so that could be the difference with being curved or being straight. Or it could have been an early verses late from the same supplier and they were retooled at some point. Needless to say plenty of straight ones out there...
 
Did the Moldings originally have black paint, black decals or nothing on the ribs ?
