Found a 318 Charger supposedly one owner complete car parked in 1982 with 30,000 miles nearby for sale.

New owner sent me some pics, frame rails are solid, rust in the lower quarters and obviously up where the roof meets the body. Interior is complete, going to look at it today to get a better idea of its condition.

Based on the pics below, what would be a realistic price range for this car?

Not an RT, but I have always dreamed about having a 68’ Charger, and I can live with a 318 model until I have the time to build it the way I want.

Thanks,

Mark

I would say easy 10-12k
And I've seen worse go for more
Good luck

With today's prices, Chargers are overly inflated. Ebay has these going over 10-15k. Personally, I wouldn't pay over $7500 if I was going to keep it.

ac car ,charger,68 yep 10 easy good luck

Gotta go with jb400. I know Calif. prices are inflated, but that ain’t a Calif. car!!!!!

Just be prepared to have 40 to 60 grand into it when it’s done.
That’s doing the majority of the work yourself.

In the end, you’ll have a nice car. That said, it will be a base model.

Aint that the truth you could do two camaros and a chevelle restoration for what one mopar costs always been that way since 1990 anyway.

I know things happen, but to throw tarp over old mopar like that and leave it since 1982. I could see if it was a baldwin or copo chevelle but not mopars

A LOT of panel replacement.......Part are in very poor condition....Charger parts come with a premium price.....

This car requires a good skill level to get the body right......

the market may bear 10K ……. but that just means there are people willing to work from deep in a hole

Good luck .. in my opinion, realistic value no more than $2k ... now what folks are willing to shell out is another story, charger prices are retarded Right now. Not sure why, they're cool but damn ! ....

The guy could pay you 10k to take it away, and you’d still be upside down when done.

If I was to take on a project in that shape, it would have to be a multi carb car, a hemi car or a 440 track pack car at the least.

The parts and sub assemblies cost the same to property restore, regardless of whether it’s a HEMI car or a slant 6 car.

May as well start with something more than a 318 base model

How badly do you want the car? What is your skill levels for doing a restoration? Do you have funds needed to restore this car? All the questions that need answering before you commit to spending a good amount of money.

Here's what you've got ahead of you with that car (from another forum).......
