on a whim, asked metalmomma if she wanted to go. i had to sit down and control my hearat rate when she said............. ok. of course, it took her an hour to get the warpaint on.
Been raining/misting all weekend, left the coronet home, took hers.
about 150 classics, she lost interest with the current models, of which there were about the same amount.
cars arranged in model, then, it seemed generation.

yep, it's still there. it was making the dart and a few jeeps. supposed to be retooled for cherokees. we did not drive past the plant today. according to what i just googled, it's up and running
 
Thanks Dave, I guess metaldad couldn't figure out my question.
 
I believe it moved from the plant several years ago. I don't know the reasons for the change of venue. To be honest, the fairgrounds are a little more friendly to folks for facilities/amenities than the plant asphalt parking lot was.
 
I agree Dave. I used to go back in the late 90's when it was at the plant. There wasn't much of nothing there back then.
