Hey guys,

I have a newer model Challenger R/T with a load of mods pushing out 454 rwhp/464 tq on a dyno. Figured I was done modding the new ride and picked up an older car to turn my attention to.

Picked up my first B-Body Charger. It's rough and it's going to be one hell of a long project for me. I'll be reading up on as much as I can! Attached are a few pictures below. It is a U coded RT, but doesn't have the fender tag. How I see it, it's a blank canvas to start again and go back to more of a restomod style rebuild.

Off the start, I know I am missing quite a bit, and will need to look into modding the included, non original, 440 or switching to something else. Setting up goals is the first thing on my list, but I don't know all the options on what you can and can't do with these cars.

Car was from the factory to have:

Exterior green
Tan interior
factory A/C
Power Steering
Power Brakes
Bucket Seat
console Shifter
front disc brake
3.55 rear end
440 4brl
727

Welcome to FBBO from SoCal. Don’t worry about the Charger - a couple coats of wax and she’ll buff right out! Sweet project

Welcome & nice looking 70' project. Nice newer Challenger also. As my as I like my newer Challenger. it is a different kind of like. I could never go without my classic musclecars.

Welcome from Mid-Michigan. Good luck with the project.
