New to the site but not new to Mopars.
The 1968 Coronet R/T my Avatar was my first Mopar restoration. Recently I purchased this 1968 Plymouth GTX and plan to do another complete restoration.

The engine and transmission are not the originals but the body numbers match and the fender tag is there.
Hope to gain some helpful information on this site and maybe provide some as well.
Jim

Welcome to the FBBO...we have quite a few Arizonians here! What area do you live in?

:welcome:

Welcome to FBBO from SoCal. Sweet project. Always happy to see another beautiful 68:GTX on the road again. Good luck with her.

Welcome from Ohio. ( I hate 68’s!)

Welcome Jim, having always been a fan of the GTX's from the 60's I am glad you joined us. It appears you have a great project ahead. :luvplace:

Welcome from Yuma, AZ! I hope the weather up north is being nice as it was been in the upper one teens for the past several days down here.

Looks like a pretty decent car. Like yours, my 69 GTX has data plate and body matching but different 440 and 727. Lots of information on here for your build. You need to start a restoration thread!

Welcome from Michigan:drinks:. Nice GTX you have and the fun you will have.

Welcome aboard FBBO from NC.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

That should be enough to give you an idea.

I live in Paulden, Arizona at about 4400' elevation so weather not as severe as the lower desert locations.

Will start a restoration thread once I get some time. Right now just dismantling, bagging, tagging and making a list of parts to repair and purchase.
