I found some parts for a 72 RR I may not use

I went to look at some 72 Roadrunner parts that were listed. I was mainly interested in the AC dash for the wood grain dash plaque with the Roadrunner emblem . I got a package deal on the parts so I took more than I needed hoping to one day recoup some money to get my items for free.

The man had a 72 Roadrunner GTX 440 4spd. years ago. He kept what he could an scrapped the rest of the car last month Including the Motor Transmission and rear. What a shame.
And you guys condemn me?
I bought the seats which only have one hole in the lower rear. The complete dash with tach for AC. The 26 inch radiator. and the console. I didn't take enough money for the hood and the header panel. but I have three hoods.

The seats are soft and were in the upstairs of a heated garage. The backs different then my 71 seats. so I won't use them but they were to nice to leave there after the long ride. Here are pics from the ad where they were.

I had to ask him why he would do that. His answer was he had to make room in the barn downstairs for his new Sleds. Up state thing.

I met many who just didn't care about their Dads left over projects. And some Dads who just gave up on them.

I saw your avatar Thought you might like to see some pics of my 62's My first car that I never drove not on the street was a Polara. I had a 62 police car it had a 413 in it from the factory. I put the motor and trans in a 65 valiant. I know, That was a dumb move but it was 1970.

Not really It has an original 7k tach and I am waiting to see if the other roadrunners tach works when I get it Home. The repop's are 8k tach's. But I have more clusters with clocks. I got with other cars. I have been buying up all the 71's and parts that I find for parts When my roadrunner comes in the shop. I am not hunting parts when it comes in. We will do a total resto in 3 months. What is a nice one worth shipped from 18038?

I am also lining up parts for interior restoration on my 71.like to find a rally gauge package to restore and put on the shelf for when the time comes. Also hunting a column shift power steering column to do same.Do not know worth of a resto worthy cluster and bezel. Maybe someone will jump in.
