has anyone had any luck purchasing these recently? Everywhere I've looked shows them out of stock and I've called Schumacher himself and he's been out forever. He always tells me to "keep trying". :blah:

Oh right! Forgot about mancini. They don't say out of stock. I'll call them Monday. Thanks!

Have any of you guys used these? Do they add any vibration to the car or are they as good as the stock ones in that respect?

I don’t have any problem with them on then X. No noticeable vibration.

Mancini says they haven't had those mounts in stock in a long time and they're not sure why Schumacher doesn't keep his stuff in stock. Lol.

I just used factory mounts and added a Schumacher torque strap. This one was a "E" body one I found on eBay for half the cost and just had to use a spacer.

that is an excellent precaution. After running solid homemade mounts, I decided to change back to stock mounts. Well, the chineseium biscuit broke shortly thereafter, sending my fan into the radiator. Got the poly mounts then, pretty good.

I was lucky enough to find a set of NOS mounts (made in USA). I heard that a lot of the aftermarket ones weren't holding up. I would have went with the polylock but they were backordered and expensive.

It's funny because I've called Schumacher a few times over the past couple of years and he hasn't had them. Ever. He won't put me on a waiting list or call me if they come in stock. I've offered to pay in advance, etc. not sure what's going on. He's a nice guy but I can't figure this one out.

I just installed a set of Mitymounts by dynatech.

Check them out, they are nice and don’t vibrate the crap out of the car.
