My car is almost to the end and contemplating whether or not to keep the wheels that was put on it some 27 years ago by my dad or the most correct Ralleys that it would come from the factory. Thoughts? From who? Not sure of the tire size right now until I get home from my deployment. Attached is a picture of what is on it now.

Thanks

I may be prejudice but I love the old aluminum slots that are on it in the picture. My favorite wheels. But, it would be nice to see the Rallyes also. I know, why not have both? I always like a spare set anyway! LOL

True on that. Those wheels/tires has about 100 miles on them

I did like those slots when I had them on my challenger then I got a lot of people saying “I got those same wheels on my chevelle (or nova, mustang, dun buggy)” That’s when I went back to Mopar wheels. And I drove the car rain or shine, they don’t stay clean for long when you have dirt roads around.

I love the look of slots, had them on my 71 RR. Plus your Dad put them on it! Keep him smiling!

I'd rather have the slots myself. Looking into buying them now although ralleys are a close second.

Not the greatest picture but you get the idea . I am not going with the org rallyes as they will not fit my brakes under them if you get to that point I might sell off my set ,as I'm told there is it no more cars . ... So there's no point in saving them . P.m. me if needed

That would be the only reason I would keep the slots!

X3. In honor of Dad for sure. I vote keep the slots. I do like Rallye wheels also, but you have a more important reason.

Thanks guys. I just might keep both sets. If so, I'm looking for the best repop Rallys for the period.

I'm looking at possibly going 15x8 for the front and 15x10 Rallys on the rear. Both has 4 1/2" bolt pattern. One size will have 4 5/8" backspace and the other 5" backspacing(?) that I found. Trying to visualize the whole concept and figure the tires as well. I think I'm gonna keep the slots but even if I do, those tires gotta go. Thoughts?

Thanks
