This guy wants way too much for what it is. I prefer to talk to the owner. It's listed in Hemmings ad 2118136. For some reason I can't post the whole ad.

Welcome.
What are the cars options? Fender Tag or build sheet?
Is it a real Bee or a tribute?
If that's just a basic Bee w a column shift and non matching power train freshly restored it is probably not worth a much over $30k.

Those classic companies always want WAY more than the car's worth.
Stick around here and youll find a car where you can talk with the owner.
The rules on for sale ads on this site are really clear and make it easy for the potential buyer.

It's a real Bee. I checked the fender tag. Original 383 transplanted to a 440. Color changed from silver metalic to orange. Not many options. Just a 4 speed with the stripe.

Saw that one also. Definitely would want to inspect it in person if you are interested.
I've been looking for a 69 Bee for quite awhile now. Seems like if a guy bought any of them that are for sale right now, you would be upside down by at least $10K.

Ahh life in moparland...

What are they asking for it? As far as being 10k underwater on any Bee bought today - maybe that’s just the market and what it will bear.....

They're about 15k over priced IMO.
Which may be all the owner is asking for in the first place

Seems like 69 Bees are starting to get into the crazy money, trying to catch up to second gen Chargers.

I figured it would take another $10K to get it straightened out.
Do mean to undo the suede interior and the aftermarket gauges and all the other metro mods?

50Gs and it's not even close to numbers matching...although they say that in the beginning. Oh sorry our version of 'numbers-matching' just means the VIN plate matches the VIN on the title..Sheisters! Don't you just love the 'all items not working can be fixed in OUR garage' line..for what another 50? Then the whole 'I hear no knocks' and 'I see no rust bubbles' etc...that's sheister talk for "it's there but we're not responsible for not disclosing it"

A lot not working,sounds like $30 Thou.car to me.

I was trying to be nice but that's a start for sure. Steering wheel and door panels too.
Grill and tail panel needed detailed too. Not a fan of the black out.

If you think that's too much, check this car out. I was at Mecum last Thursday and I about passed when this went on Thursday. $64K with commission. I figured it would take another $10K to get it straightened out.

I don't get it.

Why are you using "get it correct" with that car. It is a restomod. They are their own class and frankly seem to bring big money too. That is not being passed off as a OEM car. Not an apples to apple comparison with that car.

Understood, very familiar with the concept. I didn't say OE, 'correct' just meant to my liking.

Given the opportunity i believe i would go for a bee. Like charger did alot of work on them but the side scoops on those bees just says muscle to me anyway.

Tough to find a decent Bee. When you spot one you like you need to be ready to jump. Glad i grabbed one when i did. That money doesn't seem to be too far off anymore...maybe a little strong but cash on the table can bring things down quite a ways. Jmho.
