I foUnd the parking brake pedal tread in the glove box! Don't know how I never noticed it before! So I cleaned out all of the old glue from I guess previous attempts at remounting it, and I went straight to the king of adhesives: EPOXY! I epoxied it on, the thing isn't even cracked or torn! I also took a piece of sheet metal and made a trans tunnel cup holder, only the driver needs a cupholder anyway! I painted it properly too, sand, primer, sand, primer, sand, silver coat 1, orange coat 1, orange coat 2. Then iput some of the black version of the door trim that I used on my dash. There's velcro in the bottom edge on the inside to hold it to the carpet better.

I also got 2 front indicator lenses , but I can't install them until I remove the dents in the chrome bezel on the right side

just a quick update, the car has no factory audio system so i'll be putting something together soon. the tires are fresh, yay, and i might get a 2 & 1/2 inch tach to put up on op of the dash. also my friends and I have a new tradition. the bottle from every glass bottled drink that is consumed in the car goes in the trunk. you can hear 'em every time you turn, its pretty funny.

Does anyone know where i can find a as tank filler neck grommet? I parked it onn a hill after filling it up and about four gallons of gas leaked out onto the ground

Make sure you apply a coat of red or black sealant on the tube side of the tank, and once more after installation pass a bead of sealant with your finger around the grommet where the tube and grommet mates.

Things were changed now, the old axle found to be oversized somehow, it is not any good, I brought one from my father's 66 SW, the same everything except the ratio 3.55.
Mine is 2.94, I don't know what the ratio will have an affect on driving, should I use it or replace it with the original 2.94. Thanks.
