My father special ordered this 66 Coronet 440 station wagon at Cherry Hill Dodge in NJ.

It featured a 383 and 4 speed trans and pretty much every high performance option and bench seat.

It was obviously customized with the brown textured paint and bright hugger orange paint, functional scoops, side pipes, javelin grill, corvette taillights with clear lenses for turn signal and single low/high headlights.

It was sold in the early 70's. Curious to know if it is still out there, somewhere, in any condition.

Does anyone know or remember this car from Souther New Jersey???????

Wow, that is a beautiful wagon and the best of luck finding it. Have you don't a title search to see if you can dig anything up? I guess a "Plan B" would be to build another one just like it....but I hope you find the original car.

Pretty coool Looking..

Haven't found it yet, but I did find a different animal with only 3600 miles!

that is a very cool grocery getting/school drop off machine!! just to be clear did your dad add the grill and scoops himself or it came from the dealer that way?

I'm slowly collecting info on 1966 383-4 440 models.

There were only 1679 built.

Not sure if there was only one four speed wagon, but it's plausible.

From what I have researched, there were a grand total of 13 wagons with a 4 speed.

Cherry Hill Dodge, right around the corner from me.

Yes.. I even knew the salesman, Mike Blank.
He sold my wife and I Ford Explore at Echelon Ford back in 1994.
When I mentioned his name to my wife at dinner that my parents are at, my mother said his name was familiar. My father replied, "He sold him the wagon back in '66"! I saw Mike a few days later and not only did he remember the car, he remembered my parents name...... Small world

The first grill in the B&W photo was from a Mustang. The second grill was courtesy of AMC Javelin. The high beam headlights were removed. The hood scoops were off a Ford F450 (and up) that were used over the turbo diesel.
Pontiac used the same scoop in 62-63

That second grill, is that from an AMC Javelin? Good luck on your search.

Radio "delete" and heater delete.

361?

Interesting.

Spec order or just an oddball factory build?

You might want to check those numbers. There were NO Coronet 500 wagons built, period. The 500 was available as a convertible, a two-door hardtop and a four-door sedan. Once again, NO 500 wagons. None.

Just a little trivia - in '67 there was only 1 440 wagon with a 383 4-speed built. The owner of it is a member here.
