Hello all, I need a suggestion on how much my car is worth. It’s a 68 Coronet 4 Door 440, 318 auto column shift. No A/C, manual brake. Interior is in nice shape, but going to replace it. Body does not have rust, perfect undercarriage, trunk floor has some light surface rust. New tires/wheels. Thank you!

Don't know about the car's value, but I'll give you $200.00 for the hubcaps. :D

My gut says 4500.00. So I looked it up on NADA & they give an average retail of 4500.00 & a high retail of 7700.00.

I'm a big fan of 4 door Mopars. BUT not many are, prices will vary allot. The car looks nice and I would think you may see the 5 to 7 grand range. I just sold a nice 68 4 door Valiant, Zero rust California car.V8,fresh driveline, disc brakes,TTi headers and exhaust, big bolt change over. New suspension steering, etc. New upholstery, seat belts and carpet.Thru in a set of aluminum wheels and tires and a 8 3/4 rear with new Dr. Diff axles. Had a hard time getting $5000 for it. If it was a 2 door $10 to 12 grand would have been easy. The most I ever got for a 4 door 64 Belvedere Done the same way as the Valiant above was 13 grand.

$7500.

Kind of a shame. What a nice car!! I think i would just keep it (i hate selling stuff anyway).

After seeing the absolute junk for sale at the Nats and the asking prices for said junk,
I came to my valuation above.
Not too long ago, the subject car would have been used to restore a 2 door example

So i am not the only one that was looking at the value of the front clip, lower quarter patch panels and tail panel metal??
Too nice of a car for that though...

I'm with you on that. -- A lot of cut and hack surgery on a healthy car would yield what? Another zombie car?
If it was wrecked in one portion I can get using its donor parts for another vs bringing it back.
I'm not much for four-door cars but I do like seeing original stuff that lasted this long.

Around my area, AC would hike the price for sure....

If the trunk lid is not rusty (a big problem on 68's) it it worth gold !

Nice car, I am a fan of the sedan! I would estimate $5000-7500 in value, there are plenty of folks looking to get into an old car that don't have deep pockets and this one sure fits the bill.

Thank you for all the advice! I’m keeping the car. Love how basic and bland it looks. I drive it every day to work etc... Definitely a sleeper. I have a 383 thinking of putting in it.... but the 318 runs so well. Not sure what to do.

I did that with my 64. Bought everything to put a 500'' stroker in it,but the 318 ran so well I left it alone.
