Mopar Nats, Columbus OH. August 10th - 12th

Just wanted to say thanks for all of those who came out and supported the show this weekend. I know that the weather was not the best on Friday and Saturday, but we have no control over that and have to deal with what comes our way. It seems that the attendance was down from last year and the car count according to friends who ventured out reported seeing less cars. But then again, the weather impacted those numbers as well.

Did get to put a face to several of the people here on the forum over the weekend. The weekend is for the most part, busy for us; so little time to socialize. For those who did come, hope that your weekend was good and those who did not get the chance to visit the show, just remember to support the local shows so that the hobby can continue to thrive in the years to come.

Yack, yack, yack! Anybody take any pictures?

It was weird getting parked where they normally have the tribute cars at... def lower car count, weather sucked..

2 questions:
1.) Did they even have a tribute car area this year? I know there was the usual viper pit, survivor tent, car corral, and they had the Christine meet and greet setup, but I never saw an actual tribute area

2.) Were there any new Demons there? Hellcats galore, but unless I overlooked it, not a single new demon

Good. Maybe a new venue will give this show a good shot in the arm that it so desperately needs.
They tried that when they took it to Indy and it didn't seem to get favorable reviews after the move. I remember being at Indy the first year and tech inspection was a long, winding, hot pain in the arse. The swap meet also seemed much smaller there. But who knows.
