This probably matters to somebody...

Use to be a big football person but since they have been taking the knee and being disrespectful I don't even watch it. To have the guts to kneel down against our flag and what it stands fore just doesn't sit right with me. A bunch of spoiled rich kids and we pay for it sorry not from me. Rank over sorry this place is about our dreams and wishes and to see the end results of everybodies labor into the rides they build.
 
Diddo that the NFL means NOTHING to me either. Saw a t-shirt today with an American flag on it that read " If you are ashamed of this flag, come on I'll help you pack" To the NFL players that take a knee, hand back the big check, and go back to whatever country you choose and live there, cause we don't need you here!

Yes they have because that has always been a college football tradition. It has never been a pro football tradition, however. It also used to be a pro football tradition for all the players to stand respectfully for the national anthem. Lot of good traditions being broken lately in pro football. My prediction is that a female pro football player is coming next. Again, not that I care. Just sayin".

OH I've been saying this for years! Change a few more rules, take some more of the roughness out...and do what the league does best which is cave to public outrage it's only a matter of time..
 
There's more than the kneeling going on to wonder about with patriotism today...
 
I'm not a fan of most of what is going on in the outer fringes of the NFL. But, as long as the game stays the game, I will be watching. For me, it's about the fellowship among friends and even with some strangers. All of this hoopla hasn't stopped me from having something to talk about and bond over with my bar customers, the guy at the hardware store, strangers wearing an opposing teams gear....etc. When it's no longer safe to wear the gear, or go to a game.....I will turn it off for good
