Pulled my rear seat to see if I could find broadcast sheet. No luck but I did see this metal tag attached to seat frame (bottom seat). I haven’t heard of this tag on the seat before. I thought the numbers might be the VIN but I don’t think so. I know the pic is backwards but I didn’t want to bend the tag.
Does anyone know what the numbers are?

Forgot to mention. Seat came out of a 69RR but can’t guarantee it didn’t come from another vehicle when restored 20+ years ago.

My '70 GTX had one and the seat was made in Compton. No idea what it is for.

They're assembly tags.

The tag typically lists the vendor number, the assembly number, a date code and a trim code.

So it tells you who made it, what it fits, when it was made and the color.
