Anyone know of a kit that has prebent pipes to go into the trunk area
Via the package shelf. Most of them I have seen are just straight pipe.
My welder does not have a pipe bender, so kinda want a prebent one.
I want to retain the back seat so grand kids can go for a ride too.

I'm looking for the same info. Ever figure anything out?

Make a template of what the down-tube needs to be and then take your tubing to a muffler shop with a mandrel bender and have them copy it.

Look at JEGS they have pre bent kits. I believe they’re called “proster” or something like that. Mild steel and reasonable prices.

Find a local electrician and ask him to bend your stuff on a ridged pipe bending machine.

I built a nice 10 point chromoly cage with a hydraulic conduit bender once.

And I had a local chassis fabrication shop do mine. Actually, they did my entire roll bar.

they have a pipe bender to handle up to what size and is it a good one. air power or hyd type

I think they have both types manual and one that uses a bottle jack up to 3" I'm not sure my kids have one at their shop

hey thanks for the heads up. going to take a look at those. thinking cheaper to do it myself but do have to say the kits look good.

I bought kit from s and w . That’s a story in itself. I had a buddy do the welding for me because of my defibrillator and he knew a guy to bend back tubes. I ordered back tubes a extra foot longer to make sure . It all worked out good.

Rhodesracecars.com If you go to their website they have instructions and angle template's you can print off. Measure the angles and lengths and they will bend exactly what you need.

We custom bent every bar in my car. Mine go thru my package tray into a tubular upper shock mount we made to incorporate the anti-roll bar as well. One of these angle tools are very helpful when figuring angles also.

Make sure the grand kids wear helmets. Those roll bars are hard on bare heads. JMHO. Dave
