What's your dog's name?

Sorry for your loss....it's never easy. Years ago some moron ran over mine out in front of the house and another neighbor told me the guy went out of their way to get her but yet he wouldn't tell me who it was. Didn't take to long to find out I was living in a neighborhood that had a lot of ******** in it. So far I've outlived two of them but this one is still around and is 82 now.
You assume the risk when you let your dogs run loose.

She got out of her fenced in area....plus she wasn't out 'in' the street but along the edge. There are no curbs out here and had open ditches and like I said, the driver went out of his way to get her. She knew about cars too. And I appreciate your compassionate concern.....

Grace/Gracie, her name when we got her from the rescue agency, Australian Shepard. Wife decided it was time after losing Mocha our chocolate lab, (2 years ago on the 17th).
Grace is a good dog but gets skidish at times, we suspect some kind of abuse in her past. She has bonded with the wife, I'm low man on the totem pole.

That really sucks. Sorry for your lose. Some real jerks out there.

All of our dogs have had what I consider to be interesting names.
Raja was our first. Border Collie/Rottweiller mix. The name means "Prince" in some other language.

Mopar was our second dog. Yellow lab that was the happiest dog ever.
Samson was a large Rottweiller/Australian Shephard mix.
Doggies 036.jpg

Domino was my girl...she was white/dark gray with spots.

Barney is short for "Barnacle" because he sticks to your side. Here he is with Domino. IMG_4147.JPG

That's different. I hate it when anybody loses their pet. I have a couple of family members who, through their stupidity, recently lost their dogs needlessly. I was projecting that onto you...my fault.

I also had a tank . R.i.p.

Then there was Sarge he was a very old German Shepherd we found I'll have to look for his picture r.i.p.

And lastly bandit ,he is alive and well just no longer with me as he kept jumping on me before my back surgery we tryed everything lots of training he just loved to jump and say hi. So we rehomed Him right before my last surgery !
Again have to find his pictures.

But what I would give to have my dogs back all of them! Each had there own personality and we're like family!!!!

all rescues. in their favorite place, my side of the bed. inseparable, all raised from pups.
yellow dog is the alpha. 35#, 3 1/2 y.o. rat terrier mix, freya.
brown dog is the couch potato, zelda, 3 y.o. boxer/ shepard mix.

Our Boxer is Mopar. His registered name is Linda's High performance Mopar. Linda named him, he's 80 lbs. great shape 6 years old and still a puppy in heart. He's the neighborhood mascot, but ain't nobody coming in the house if they don't belong.

That dog reminds me of "Rocket", our 7 year old Border Collie. We did a DNA test...he is about 10% Australian Cattle Dog.

Colt is the Black Lab 5 years
Daisy is the Yellow Lab 4 years

They aren't related but are besties.

Colt was the pick of his litter, very athletic. Swims plays fetch both lime a Champ.

Daisy was the runt of her litter.. She is a meticulous hunter who very slowly and methodically tracks her quarry.

Both have been raised as family members and are great with kids.
And they are good bird dogs, each picks up where the other lacks.

and they LOVE trucks!

German Shedder is Eva. Boxer mix is Kacey but she also goes by Chewy (that's short for chewtoy...for obvious reasons!)

Clarice. Half pitbull and half labrador. Tough as 300M tool steel and a head harder than diamond. Very nice though.

Always carried that Frizbe even when he couldn't run any longer.
