Really?

Again, thank you all. This gem will stay in the garage. I guess it will be my wife or daughter who will sell it. This is the second time I have owned this car. I had sellers remorse as soon as I sold it the first time, all because of the money. I bought it back a couple years later and I paid dearly to get it. The guy I sold it to did not want to sell it. I really twisted his arm.
Maybe your being saved from another dose of sellers remorse.

Why would or should a person have sellers remorse? Unless you sold it and found that you sold it way to cheap. If you have come to the point that you are thinking of selling it, the romance is fading. Then it becomes a matter of money. In that case , give it plenty of advertising in a market that buyers looking for that type car will see it. No serious interest, then lower your price till there is. ......................MO

Mistake #1 - Selling the car the first time. :(

Mistake #2 - Buying the car back at a ridiculously inflated price.

Mistake #3 - Expecting to be able to recoup your money from #2 by selling it to someone else now. :praying:

Cant disagree.... When I got my '66 Belvy II in the early 90's, I was really surprised to find how many folks at car shows didn't know what it was at all.... It might as well have been a Marlin lol...
BAD EXAMPLE I GUESS.... We went to the supercar event downtown Cleveland in Public Square this afternoon and what do I find???!!!111 A g@d d*mn Marlin, lol. The only Mopar representation there was an '18 Demon and a Viper... How the Marlin fits in amongst the like of the 2.3 million dollar Aston Martin Vulcan is beyond me.. Anybody else go by any chance??

Forgot what front end of a Marlin looked like. Thought they looked decent back in the day but who'd buy a Rumblecan.

This comment actually made this entire discussion very confusing to me.

That is a very late Ambassador bodied Marlin.

Most folks know the earlier Rambler bodied version.

Unfortunately the auctions are not right for most of us anymore. They are all greedy pigs now. Mecum wants $1000 just to register the car, 10% of the sale price, and the cost to transport it there. Not in my budget! Hemmings is expenwsive and only gives you one month exposure. Also not my budget.I have had the car to a few cruises with my friend driving it. People on it like bees on honey. Most can't believe it is the real deal until they look at the original paperwork. Those that don't realize what the car is ask really insulting questions, but I just smile and am polite to all.

www.carsonline.com Submit pictures, text, and $40 or $60. Your ad runs till it is sold, or you cancel it. Many high end cars there, of all kinds. Is your car really all that great? I know a guy that thinks his POS is pure gold....................MO

Without pictures who knows?

To the OP lets see some pictures of the car...geez....

80k is good money for a 67 HEMI car IMO.
Sounds like you made an emotional purchase and are looking for someone else to do the same.

I will keep the car. I sold it five years ago for 120K, I bought it back three years ago for 125K. I know what an awesome car it is and that is why I bought it back. Since I can't drive anymore I think about this fantastic car sitting in the garage. Whether I sell it or not will not be the difference between Hot dogs or steak. I don't believe the market has crashed so 80K is a good price. Just MHO but that is BS!

Still...no pictures.....How can anyone saw the car is worth more without seeing it?

The concourse blah blah means nothing unless it was an ICCA, Nats, MCACN, Carlisle judged event......

You gave limited information, no pictures but you want to debunk all the people giving their opinion......

This is how you properly list and describe a car for sale....and WOW has pictures.....
This car has been listed for over 3 years at 115.......
And I bet this is way nicer......

Of course you are entitled to your opinion, but I think not. My car is a two time first place winner at a Concourse de Elegance. I know what I have and if the car you list was truly better,115K is a very fair price. A wealthy collector friend of mine sold a 1971 Hemi cuda, 4 spd two months ago for 240K. IMO a 71 cuda is an ugly style both outside and in and the colors offered are hideous, but it is worth that much! If you find a car like mine for 80K, let me know and I will buy it.

Lol.....

80K for a 67 Hemi is about right. Just not a big following.
The 71 Hemi Cuda is one of the most sot after cars on the planet so 250K is nothing for one.
