I have been considering selling my 67 Charger 4 spd 383 car but really don't know what I should ask for a selling price so looking for some opinions from those who know best.

The car is originally an automatic car, color has been changed, needs work on the rear frame rails about 1 foot in from the bumper, its a driver that was painted/restored in the mid to late 80's. Interior is mint, dash all works, headlights rotate but are on a toggle under the dash. Drives great and I would be 100% confident in taking it across the country it is that reliable. Has some fill in the quarters, all the parts/pieces are on the car as far as trims with the exception of the rocker molding and wheel well openings. Overall I would rate the car at a 7.5-8 out of 10.

Thanks guys!

Supply & demand in your current area will probably be the biggest factor. In my area I'm guessing 10-12,000 for what you described.

Unfortunately they just don't get the price they deserve. I would say approx. $10,000 US funds.

if factory 383 four barrel +1

if factory "desirable" color +1

if factory AC +1

non original for 67 yellow -1

if 2 bbl car -1

frame rust -1

4 speed conversion parts +1 (another +1 if done correctly)

could be another - depending on amount and quality of filler in quarters

dash lights work?

Yes original 383 4 barrel, non ac car, the 4 spd looks OE and functions properly as well. Dash lights, gauges all work yes.

There was one on kijij 2 hours from me that sold in less than 24 hours for 12$ Canadian as well.

that frame issue is going to scare people away. I'd buy at $10k but I'm not aloud to buy any more cars ! Fix that frame and I'd say bump it up to $14k

What's wrong with the frame?

A frame issue and your saying it is ok to drive across the country? Careful listing things that could make you liable if an accident occurred......if the car has a frame issue that should be addressed first before saying the car is safe to drive anywhere.....

The rear frame about 12" in from the bumper has holes in it, the size of a loonie (its like a quarter only ever so slightly bigger), the bumper is still on nice and solid but it should be repaired. It passed a 'mechanical fitness test' to be licensed as an antique here under the provinces guidelines for cars over 30 years old. I do not think the garage who signed off on it would pass it if it was that major.

And FWIW and seems everyone wants to be 'PC' these days I said "Drives great and I would be 100% confident in taking it across the country it is that reliable" See 'reliable' in there?

The rear frame is relatively easy to find a donor or reproduction piece. Cut out the bad stuff, square up the new section and weld it in.

I know the rails are not overly difficult but my problem is I would,t be able to stop myself from doing more and more lol.

My mind works funny...Hmmm that would be a great time to rebuild the rear end and add a suregrip...the exhaust is only 1.5" so I know that would have to be changed out...always wanted to paint the car too lol

i think i would address the frame issue than 14k i sold this one for 5500 had 70 440 never heard it run had original 383 block no rust a lot bangs
