a body front sway bar for b body?

So a quick question to throw out there. I updated all my suspension and steering. I mean EVERYTHING!! handles great. I have a hotchkis front sway bar however that wont fit. I installed some lower control arms that make the sway bar to long. Looks like they are made to fit a shorter a body sway bar. However an a body sway bar will not clear the K member. I am not taking that thing out haha. I just got it all put back together.

Anyone come across this? any after market a body sway bars out there that will clear my K member? The lower control arms are QA1. Maybe I got the wrong ones? Either way they bolt in and look and handle great.

On another note, I have a brand new hotchkis from sway bar for a b body for sale possibly. Will bolt right in if yours had a factory sway bar. Otherwise I have the plates for welding it to the stock control arms. Or I might just cut and have it rewelded if no one tells me what a bad idea that is haha.

Some pictures would help explain what you are talking about. There are several different ways that the factory attached sway bars on the B body cars depending on the year.

well, if I took a picture it would be of a sway bar thats to long hahaha. I need a sway bar the length of an A body sway bar but the depth of a B body sway bar to clear the K member. Not a huge deal. I'll just have to do some more research. Fabricate something up I guess.

sway bay is correct but lower control arms threw things off?

maybe install original lca’s and toss in the hotchkis. i wouldnt cut/shorten sway; seems like a snap waiting to happen.

maybe check with QA1 for a sway bar
