MISSING DATA TAG ON A 1971 ROADRUNNER

I have a 1971 Roadrunner that was built in California and someone has removed the data tag. The vin# is RM23N1E147667. Pretty sure the car has never left California, any info on the car would be appreciated.

Just wanted to tell everyone this originally was a Y4 color car (Gold). so that may change the way you may know the car.
 
Nice looking Roadrunner. So it was a gold car from the factory with black interior?
From the Sacramento area with air conditioning?

Thank you, yes it was a gold car from the factory, black and grey interior and yes factory air car. Last sold in Sacramento.
 
Are you sure the car was originally Y4? That would be extremely rare for a 71 runner (it was not a factory listed available color). I only have one currently listed in my 71 road runner database and I do not have a fender tag photo of that one to verify authenticity.

Yes 99% percent. Pulled all interior panels off and gold is under every panel. Under hood is still original color. The gold under the panels looks 47 years old. Thanks for the reply that is good to know.

That looks like GY8, a standard color for 71 B bodies. Y4 is a much more pale yellow/tan color.
 
Why I think you are correct. Thanks for the info. (GY8). To bad it is not Y4 LOL. How many were made in the GY8 color?
 
No color breakdown specific to roadrunners but for the entire satellite line GY8 accounts for 8.7%

I have a registry for 71-72 Plymouth B bodies. On the rare occasion, I have an old photo of the fender tag for a car that currently has it missing. Unfortunately, I didn't have any previous information for your car.
 
Well that sure would have been awesome if you did. Can I register mine on your registry? I appreciate all of you help.
