what is the steering gear box in the picture. type, brand is it stock unit or something special

Looks stock/factory...if you're interested you can buy a brand new, not reman, quick ratio from PST for $260 to your door for being a FBBO member...

thanks mike, will empty it out but is that a manual box from a rr. mike is that what you have the pst type do you have to change anything else.

I have a factory (pic)and the PST small sector, supposed to be a direct bolt in, mine is a 67 Coronet, Only difference is sector shaft sizes 1 1/8 or 1 1/4.
I planned on staying manual & bought the PST, but now have a Borgenson power...
