I am more familiar with 65-70 B bodies and their parts. Not so much with 71-74 cars. With that being said I picked up a pair of doors and a passenger fender. The guy told me the fender was a 71 -72 RR/GTX/ Sat. The doors were 73-74 Charger. I noticed there was a reinforcing piece in one door and not in the other. I will post some pictures so maybe someone could set me straight. Would like to sell them .

Thanks in advance.

Looks like '72 Plymouth fender and '73/'74 Charger doors. Body lines on '73 Charger doors were changed to flow all the way across the door without interruption. '71/'72 doors the body lines are non-continuous.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know why one door would have the reinforcing in it and the other doesn't?

73-74 charger doors! Ply fender yes date I couldn't tell you I'm a charger guy

71-2 has a continuous body line and 73-4 does not.
Sorry I have it backwards
73-4 had a continuous body line and 71-2 does not

This is the top of a '71 door. I put tape on the body lines so you can more clearly see them. I use Cordoba side mirrors, so there are extra holes as Cordoba mirrors have 3 studs.

Fender is 72 Roadrunner/Satellite 2 door
Gold door is 73-74 Charger
Green door is 71-72 Charger. (look at body line, not the pin stripe)

As Stated fenders are 1972 .The side markers are the '72 style, although I have '72 fenders on my '71. Openings were made to accept the '71 larger style side markers.

Is the door with the “reinforcing bar” the driver’s door?
