amature vector restoration

I am in the middle of my first vector wheel restoration and figured I would post pictures.
Starting off with 180, 320, and then wet sanding with 600 and then 800 to give the polished look for the "spokes".
Prepped the back and painted it rustolium gloss black by a brush.

Thinking about using sem trim black for the face of the rims.

Here are some before/after pictures.

They should look pretty slick when done.

What did method did you use to finish out the spokes, yours looks great.
 
This is mine, finished with 800 wet sand only.
Yours looks much shinier, did you buff as well?
