After running the box now for over 200 miles I have to say it works as advertised, starting right up hot after sitting for a while with just a quick jog of the key. More power, smother acceleration off the line and revs right up quicker than a stock box. Much better reliability than the others out there.

great, who is fbo i do not know their brand is there a web site?anyone else tried this part out yet? thanks

FROM 4SECFLAT.COM OUT OF OREGON I am not sure what the FBO stands for mad in USA great price and 5 year warrantee. The unit requires no ballast resistor and a coil they sell must be used which is compatible.40.00 more try it out.

Been using one for a few years with no complaints, plus it has a rev limiter built in.

I run it too, Don is very knowledgeable and great to do business with. I highly recommend him and his products

Great to hear!

I'm planning on ordering one of these....sucks because I had just bought an electronic ignition set (dist., orange box, wiring) for my '74.

I guess the orange box will sit on the shelf as a back-up unit.

From what Don told me, one of the guys that used to work for the original owner of Racer Brown bought the business. It kind of sounds like Don would like to sell out what he has in FBO.

keep the orange box and a normal balleast resitor and your stock coil for a complete back up. The FBO does not need a resistor and it needs the coil it comes with.

Everything I have gotten from him works like a charm. If he would make that look like stock I'd order one in a heartbeat.

I have installed one of those boxes in a car I was working on once and it does indeed do as advertised.

If you want a good set-up that still has a stock look use the Rev n Nator. Put one on my car with a factory electronic decal and it and it fools most. Also does exactly as advertised and love the adjustable rev limiter also.

How about "Fat-Bald-Old" our web address is 4secondsflat.com.
This "Best in Industry" product has been available since Feb. 2012 and every one of the nearly 7,000 units sold are still operating flawlessly Worldwide. It's easy to give you a 5 Year warranty, we don't have any failures!

Thanks for the Kudo's guys.
