Looking to replace the valve seals on my 440-1 heads and cant find any info on this. Don't want to take the valve covers off until I get the parts.

Does this sound right?
3/8" Stem, .530" Guide?

I think I screwed the original seals up when I removed and reinstalled them without a sleeve while changing and shimming springs before assembling motor. They where blue positive stop type and I just assumed cause they were new they would be fine but when I pulled the intake I could see about a teaspoon full of oil laying on the intake valves in multiple cylinders so while i'm shimming up the rocker shafts (a whole other issue) I think I'll just change the seals as well.

Head is cometic and exhaust used to be Mr Gasket Ultra seals. Now I have raised port heads, bought 3 sets of gaskets hoping one will fit! Massive header leaks right now!!

I meant brand of valve seal Comp, Manley, Etc.

But anyway yea I have Raised deck heads and used the gasket that came with the TTI Headers (Not sure who made it) but it's perfect. Even pulled the driver header out when I redid the trans and used the original gasket and sealed up perfect the second time. Knock on wood!!!

Not a HEMI though so different.

You may want to check the fit of the intake manifold. If it is not right the oil can be sucked past the gaskets from the valley cover. A teaspoon is a lot of oil to come past a valve guide.
Normally just a little dribble at most.

Indy heads = raised intake ports with separate valley pan.

No oil coming from the valley into the intake ports with that arrangement.

Yes he is, I've spoken with him a few times. I didn't know he had Valve stem seals though.. I need to talk with Greg today and see if he can get me a set of intake gaskets in the 572-13 size ports. My 440-1's have been heavily ported and the 440-1 intake gaskets are way to small and need to be trimmed/Matched to the ports but it doesn't leave much room around the out side edge for sealing. Indy has the 572-13 gaskets that match my port size better but they only come in .060 thick and I need .030 or I will have to mill the manifold. My heads were milled to 62cc chambers.

440-1 port size (1.340” X 2.650”)
572-13 port size (1.475” X 2.700”)

I'm just wondering if the ports are in the same location?

I glue Gregs gaskets to the head, then trim with a sharp X-actor blade.

I agree and do this also but I wish the OD of the gasket was a 1/4" bigger all the way around, and yes very thin between ports.

The first few years it had the intake off 2-3 times, never replaced the gaskets. 6 years (600 passes) only on the 2nd set of Superformace intake gaskets. It gets lashed every 20 passes. Had 500 passes on only 2 sets of valve cover gaskets. Greg's stuff is good.
