Phoenix graphics question.

Hi all
So I am building a 69 coronet 440. It's not numbers matching, it's a clean fun hot rod. Couldn't afford a real bee. I want tail stripes and the Phoenix graphic site shows the double stripes on the 68 model. Are the quarter panels and trunk between the 68/69 the same. I don't want issues laying down the 68 tail stripes on my 69. Thanks!

The 68 side markers are very different from the 69 one is round(68) the other square (69)
Therefore different tail striped

a 70 stripe could work for you, if you are looking for a stripe that has no graphic (R/T or Bee)

68/ 69/ 70 quarters are very similar.

If I am correct, the 68 stripe does not come with the hole in it for the marker. He could install a 68 bumblebee stripe and then cut the x in the decal around the marker light if he wanted like they did from the factory on the 69-70 decals.....It may look goofy where the stripe lands on the 69 marker light, but he may be able to pull it off.

IMHO for each his own, if the Chrysler designer took their time to try different combinations was for a reason , for me the 69 stripe looks good in a 69 and so on.

But... this cars are for me basically man toys, and is his car he can do whatever he want just keep in mind how it looks best IMHO.

It's blue pearl metallic. Pic doesn't do it justice. It glows in the sun. Paint code PCL.

I'm with you 100% coronet68mx! Just was throwing it out there for him. I agree, I prefer the stripe for the year on the car. I would be afraid of something small not lining up and looking like crap.

I was going to do the bumblebee stripe over winter, but I am not sure what I want to do yet.
