Hi, I'm replacing my trunk pan and I have a few questions.
I've never done this kind of thing but would like to learn as I go.
I'm worrying about how I should best support the car so that the rear doesn't get missaligned
I'm only removing the main pan. The quarters, trunk extensions, valence panel, taillight panel are staying on the car.
Can I have the car on sitting on it's wheels or should I place the it on jackstands on the chassis lift points?
If I place it on jackstands, can I have the rear axle in place or will that be too much weight pulling on the framerails?
Or If I keep the car sitting on it's wheels will that cause the same issue but in reverse?
I'm a total novice at this kind of thing but trying to learn
