My grandson who is 15 had a project to do for his photography class at high school. The title of the project was supposed to be antiquity. I attached two photos of him taking pictures of my Coronet by an old factory in our city. Anyhow enjoy!

Hey, That's Miss Jane's car......
A high school aged neighbor kid whose Dad has moved on to greener pastures asked me last summer to use one of my cars for a similar project. He and 3 buddies came over dressed up like the 60's (even had cigarette packs) and had a ball staging with the car. They were there for over an hour. Nice, polite kids respectful of the car. It was a refreshing experience.

This year he and his buddies have gotten into the demolition derby stuff and he's stopping over all the time asking for help, looking for parts, etc. I've lost count on how much stuff I've given him. Nice to see them doing something constructive, I mean destructive.

Kids like this do give me some hope for the future.

He should have put the real antique in the pictures. Grandpa!!

Just kidding. Grandkids are the best!

Nice car and photo shoot. Keep that kid around and bless him with wisdom. I hope that the building in the back ground is running again in the future with Mr. T getting NAFTA straightened out.

Yeah he is a great kid that was born loving cars. I think it is funny about the Miss Jane thing. I think hers was a convertible and numerous years ago I had a 65 500 convertible in red. This hardtop I have had twice and it is a survivor with about 14000 miles on it. 383. Nice car. Thanks everyone.

You are right about it being a convertible. I kind of jumped the gun with my comment after first seeing the red paint.
Some 15 years ago I had a 65 Coronet 500 convertible, but it was gold in color. A lot of friends
joked that if I painted it red, then I would have a Miss Jane car....

Interesting thing is that I sold the car to a guy in Canada who totally went through it inside and out. In doing so he also changed the exterior color to "Viper" Red.
The interior was originally white with gold trim. Now its white with red trim.

I always liked the white with gold!

Your grandson should get an A on his B project. Another fine Hoosier early B.

Thanks everyone for you comments. Have a great day

Great looking '65 you have there!

That's what my car was originally, gold with white/gold interior. I don't know if it will clean up but I'm planning on staying with the white interior. Car is metallic brown now.
