WTB WTB good a727

Anyone have a nice 727 for me? Going on a 440 in a ‘68 Sat.

Mine needs rebuild, maybe new planets, and I want the car to be off the road for as little time as possible, I’d like to either:
Get a good trans that needs love, rebuild it and do a swap

Or get a road-ready great trans and swap, then worry about what to do with mine.

I know I can get one from TCI/Summi etc, but I’m hoping to spend less than what they want.

Oh, and my 440 is a late-70’s block if that matters.

Man honestly, call Rick at a&a tell him what’s going on and have him send you the parts. Go on amazon order the 727 trans book and do it yourself. You’ll save thousands

Oh I can rebuild it. I’m not worried about that. My intent is to put a working trans in when I take the current one out, so that downtime is absolutely minimal. The car is my wife’s daily.

After I teardown and assess the current trans, I can decide whether it’s shot or rebuild it and sell it to recoup.

Ok wasn’t sure of your skill. If your set on getting it running as soon as possible And have the funds I’d buy one from summit only, solely because of the customer service. If Something ain’t right with what they send expect a new one to be on your doorstep within a day or so and ups a couple days later to pick up the bad one.
