I'm moving the battery from the trunk to stock location on my 69 Charger. Not an original hemi car but now has a 426.

There's a big price difference between the big block and hemi battery cables.

Do I -need- the hemi cable for any particular reason or will the big block cable work as well?

Thanks!

I think the Hemi cable has more leads coming off it than a standard BB cable. If you want OE correct go with the $$ cable, if not build your own. The standard BB repop cables are JUNK. Not sure on the Hemi ones, not that lucky to own one.

I'm with the wagonman, make your own if not concerned with originality. If you do get a repro one I would replace, or at the very minimum re-crimp the terminal connectors as that's where they tend to have problems...

Yes it looked like there were more wires on the hemi cable, not sure for what.

Not an original car so I will just make them. Thanks guys!!
