Disc brake conversion

I have a 70 Coronet that in the future I would like to put front disc's on...I want to stick with mopar o.e.m what is the best set up and what parts will I need to start getting...THANX in advance!

If you want OEM go with the 70-72 spindles and caliper brackets. You can then source the calipers and rotors easy enough and this is what would have been on the car if ordered with Disc. I actually have the parts for sale if your interested. PM me.
 
Best OE setup is the later model 11.75 rotors. They work really nice and the cost is reasonable but they do require 15 inch wheels. If you want period correct then you need to find the 1970 setup. The '70 setup will work but it isn't the best choice. Just depends if you're trying to be correct, or if you want the best OE parts.
 
70-2 B/E is correct setup but rotors cost the most.
73-up A/E setup works great and the rotors are cheaper.
Both can be upgraded to the 11.75"rotors with the larger caliper mounts which Dr Diff carries.
Should change the master to a disc brake one.
Metering valve will need to be changed too.
 
You can get rotors for 70-72 for $55, so it is not a lot more, but they are more. The whole 15 versus 14 can be a big deal, plus the larger rotors add more sprung weight. If it is just a cruise car, the70-72 are fine and OEM correct for your car.

If this is more of a daily driver the 73 up is a larger bearing spindle and would offer some more brake power. Just a matter of what is most important to you.
 
Nothing wrong with a 70-2 setup. I have then on a few cars and yes the rotors are a lot cheaper than they use it be. Rockauto has them for 54.50. The Raybestos and Bendix ones were well over 100.00 ea.
Will ad you if you upgrade the 70-2 ones to the 11.75 rotors you will need the bearing conversion spacers from Dr. Diff
