Rubber grommets for behind the backing plate - E-brake cable - where to find them ? ?

Trying to find the rubber grommets that are on the end of the E-brake cables where they attach into the backing plate - got a picture to show what part I'm looking for . . .

Then I spent some time trying to find these rubber grommets that go behind the backing plates . . .

And the grommet - I guess 50 year old grommets are allowed to do this . . . Any ideas ? ?

Have not been able to find just the rubber grommets - and I don't need to purchase the whole cable . . .

Anybody got any recommendations on where to find these ? ?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide . . .

I would like to know myself.....Never have been able to find new ones....

We had enough of those cables around I just would rob good ones off another pair....

They're both firewall gromments.

Thanks to all for the pointers . . . But those are the firewall grommets . . .

Agreed . . . that's exactly what I'm running into . . . can't find the one for behind the backing plate . . . But I'm still looking ! !

I really thought Detroit Muscle would have them but I only saw the firewall gromment. Maybe @Joe Suchy would know. I don't think they have changed much in all these years.

To my knowledge, they have never been a service replacement part. I would suggest giving the various emergency brake line manufactures a call and see if they will sell you the grommets. I know that Right Stuff and Inline Tube both offer various component pieces, but that is one piece that I have never searched to add to our inventory. Most customers would end up purchasing the complete kit.
