OK, I have looked high and low, and searched as much as I could, so now I have come to the experts?

Does anyone have pictures of the correct placement for the red and green springs , brackets and throttle linkage for a 1966 street Hemi four speed. Or is there some material that covers all these details for an "****" guy like me.

If anyone looks at pictures of so called "restored" original cars, (even from the big name folks) you will see every which way you can imagine for the placement of theses items, no consistency. I am sure there is a "correct" placement for the items.

I thought I was opening a Mustang thread... :D only there worse.. :)

Ray Barton has it like this... if this helps...

Please consider using a different term to describe your quest for correctness. Picky, meticulous, a stickler....something else!
**** is not a pleasing term to read even when dealing with an actual anus.

:D

Can I change the thread title please @smallie9 ??? Maybe "Fastidious"

The other one is a little disturbing to see on the front page.

Here's mine before I rebuilt them. They had been rebuilt at least once before I owned the car, so I don't know for sure if this is 100% how they were originally.

OK, maybe "My OCPD is acting up" will do? I don't see the concern with **** though, it's akin to anus, and like opinions, we all have one. Which goes to my reason for the post, all the submissions so far prove my point, no consistency.

Thanks for the subject matter feed back, and the additional material as well. I think the Canadian trio cleared my constipation of the hole matter.

Thanks...I don't have a problem with the word or inference of '****', but it is probably better to keep it off the public viewed side of the forum....just for keeping it semi-clean. Kids do look here also...don't want anyone getting the wrong idea about us....they might think we drive Mustang's. :D
