Ok I have the trunk pan removed and need to replace both leaf perches at the rear. Passenger side is wallowed out and rusted. Driver side is just rusted out. I found some replacement perches but none say for 66 plymouth belvedere. I would assume that it says 66 67 coronet the parts will work for the 66 67 plymouth.

Here is a link to the part its a goodmark product. https://www.partsgeek.com/ss/?i=1&ssq=GMK243277068LS&x=23&y=8

Plymouth and dodge is not the same
That said it can be used as long as you use the right front spring hanger.
Dodge and Plymouth hangers are also different
So if you get dodge hangers to match
The perch You should be good
FYI
Dodge and Plymouth had different wheelbase in the same year
From 66 -70
The difference is made by
Different perch hole location
And different front spring hangers

The factory parts manual has different part numbers for dodge and plymouth. I have not confirmed this but it could be the location of the shackle sleeve. Plymouth had a one inch shorter wheelbase than dodge, that they achieved by sliding the rear spring forward with a shorter front hanger. They probably moved the rear sleeve forward also, but I have not checked this out. Having said that, they have plymouth and dodge listed with the same part number, on the website above.

The repo front hangers they sell
Are also the dodge version
And I can confirm the difference
Is where the sleeve tube is located

The front leaf hangers are in good shape. So I guess since the part number is the same on this site for either plymouth or dodge. I will buy them and see how they compare to the original. If they are way off I guess make them work.

Thats cool RT.. I could just remove the tube and relocate to the proper position. I guess that will work as long as I have the basic structure of the perch.

its much easier to get the corresponding front spring hanger and sell off the ones you have.

I have used Dodge springs under a Plymouth. The Plymouth front hangers must be used.

If you put dodge hangers in the front it will increase your wheel base by one inch. That may or may not bother you, but the drive shaft will also be hanging out further, unless you also change that. I would modify the rear mounts as required. With the poor quality of some after market parts today, they will probably need to be modified anyway.

Seems like almost all of the parts I find have the same part numbers. So I will buy them and make them like the originals if they are that bad off. From the pictures I saw of the part compared to what i see in the car they look very close. Here is a picture of the driver side perch.
