The chick in my avatar is a motorcycle travel writer in Asia. This photo is when she lived in Singapore. I travel to Asia for work about 4 or 5 times a year. No relationship LOL, just liked her photo.

I like the choice of the scoop you're planning to add

welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

Welcome aboard from NJ. Beautiful car! Wow it really pops with the white stripe and top!

Welcome from the North. I just joined a couple weeks ago and I must say that this is an excellent forum that is way busier than what I ever imagined. Great guys here and tons of knowledge. Btw, NICE CAR!

I'm dating myself here, I remember driving through North St. Paul back in the mid 70's and in the parking lot of a apartment building on the west end of town I would see Stan Berry's mid 60's Mopar bracket car. I think it was a 66 Satellite or something like that. Those were enjoyable nights at Northstar. If the wind was right you could smell the alcohol exhaust from the sprint cars on Saturday nights over at the oval track.

Stan's car was a Coronet, '67 I think. Harry Hodge had the 6 Pak Super Bee. Harry was the $5000 Labor Day winner at Byron in '74, Stan in '75. A bunch of us started going to Byron for the big money races after all that cash was coming back to Northstar.

I remember Harry Hodge and his cars like it was yesterday. I can't count the number of times I saw him win bracket 1 at Northstar. I did a lot of traveling with Marty Hamph with the Summer Breeze cars. Mostly with the the 2nd car, the 68 Fairlane. Won the Super Stock magazine event at Rockford right after he bought the car. We put a lot of miles on his old Ford car hauler. I still talk about the corn dogs from the concession stand at NorthStar. My wife just rolls her eyes when I do. I bought Doug Law's A/SM Chevelle as a roller and raced it a couple years. Doug was from WBL. lived on Highland just off McKnight. He won class at Indy with the car before he sold it.

View attachment 665870 Welcome to the Madness.... Very nice car. I have some great ( Friends ) in South East Asia , also...

Looks like you've spent some time in BKK, I have a couple friends there but all work related, Played golf there the first week of September. Cambodia is my favorite spot in SE Asia. Some of the nicest people in the world. Most people would give up on life if they went through what Cambodian families had to endure in the 70's.
