Installing the front brake conversion kit on my 70 RR that I bought from Summit. It seems to be a quality kit but did not come with instructions and was wondering what the elastics are for.... hereis a pic
 
I asked the same thing right before I threw them in the trash lol. Going on 14,000 without them. I guess my thought was regardless of where you put them just how long are they going to be there? I'm curious myself to hear the answer.
 
Looks like the calipers I got from Dr. Diff. No rubber bands anywhere on mine, no issues.
 
Probably for shipping, were pads or something inside the calipers????
 
Anti rattle bands for the pads. Most of the time they are not needed. They are actually meant to be installed.
