Looking to do a clean up and maybe touch up with paint on the attached pictures.

On the smaller bezel I've heard to cover silver markings with Vaseline and then spray. Apparently the Vaseline protects the markings and then you wipe off.

I have Meguiar's PlastX for the cluster. But painting that could be a bit more challenging. I would really like to redo the silver outline. (Not the finest of pictures of the cluster.)

Thanks.

Just finished the dash bezel. I'm happy with the result. It's not perfect but many times better than before. The Vaseline idea does work.
Here are the before (above) and after pics.

I painted over the entire panel and then used a rubber eraser, dipped in white paint to retouch the lettering. Easy, peezy. Could do it with silver paint if correct for your year.

Polished the cluster lense with a soft rag and white toothpaste, by hand. If you use a polishing wheel, you can create crazing in it, which essentially ruins it.

What paint pen did you use? I bought Liquid Chrome from www.molotow.com and am not very happy with it. I am thinking about masking the whole unit and spraying with can. Thanks.
I used The Parts Place Chrome Refinishing Paint Marker. Got it from ebay>

I did my glove compartment trim with sticky backed chrome plastic. Was able to work it into crevises then trim outer edges. Kind of shiny probably brighter than stock. Bought at a hobby shop that sells monocote, this doesn't shrink with heat like monocote. It is an add on to Monocote, maybe made by them.
