I own a 67 rt.1968 440 engine just installed .Need advise on exhaust set up . Manifolds, pipes, etc. Stock or not any help would be great
 
OK get ready, lots of opinions on this one...
I like the 68-69 HP manifolds, h-pipe mandrel bent, with Hemi mufflers and tailpipes.
Looks, sounds and fits nice.
 
I believe there is a member her thatched a newer TTI exhaust system for sale here, check the classifieds.
 
I'm for stock, unless you have really upgraded the engine. Then maybe a 2 1/2 - 3in flow master system.

67 Drivers side manifold was one year only. Not sure what makes it one year only but make sure you get the correct head pipes in case the flange angle is different.

Exhaust choices for me would be - stock would be Gardners and Magnaflow make a good kit and the have head pipes for 68. Both sound good and not to loud or drone.
 
Right side exhaust manifold outlet is rotated so mounting holes are in different locations then the 68 up style.
 
Are you concerned with the stock manifold look, or open to anything? My advice would be whatever route you choose, you don't need anything larger than 2.5" pipe nd add an H or X pipe if you're open to that expense.

I have HP manifolds, no mods needed, I called TTI directly and gave them manifold part numbers, engine. and car model. I also had them custom bend my complete system in 304 stainless steel.
 
As stated, different opinions, there's really no right or wrong, just a matter of preference. Stock manifolds with stainless pipes would be my route in this case.
