My daughter Kyle drove in her first drag race today. She is 27 and married She is a real drag race fan especially for the professional girl drivers. She took her 1981 Transformers Camaro look-a-like. I mean the crappy Bumble Bee before it transformed in the first movie. She loves it. Yellow with black stripes. All the kids gather 'round and want their pictures taken with it. Basic 350 with all the normal bolt-on mods.

We we got to the track an she hears those engines roaring and screaming and tires squealing. She says "Dad I don't think I'm I ready for this yet!" She was really scared. Her brother Bryce went through the first pass with her and Kylie was hooked. Ready to go again and again. She got her power brake launch down and stopped spinning so much and winning some races. You never saw a happier daughter than mine today.

Good day for a dad to remember!

It's always fun when you can spend time with you kids and make memories. Thanks for sharing.

I have a dedicated drag car and a 67 valiant 360cid street car so I let my daughter drag the street car. The other day I used it pick up my grandson from school and she wanted to know why HER car was out.

I generally don't post pictures of my kids on the internet. But thanks. it was fun.

always good to raise up another drag racer

I'll see if anyone took some. I think my son may have made a video.

Glad to hear!!! Drag racing is a good way to get girls interested in motorsports.
